# Jury Duty

Adverse outcomes from other games have a chance to trigger the Fox Lawyer outcome. The Fox Lawyer falsely accuses players of crimes, causing a message with :thumbsup:or :thumbsdown:reactions available. Any verified community member can vote guilty  or not-guilty . When the jury duty period expires, participating players are awarded $ROUNDIE for participating.

If a player is voted "guilty," they are assigned the Jail role for a period of time, but the participants still get their award :relaxed:.

### Order In the Court Card

Players can "play" the Order In the Court card (part of the Roundie Cards NFT collection) using Discord slash commands. Upon play, they can select various Roundie NPM characters (Fox Cop, Fox Lawyer, Excited Bear, Deceptively Cute Gator). This initiates a Jury Duty vote on that character. If the community votes them "guilty" that character will be disabled for 24 hours, and will not appear as adverse outcomes for other games.

When the jury duty period expires, participating players are awarded $ROUNDIE for participating.
